Month out- Prepping for day of advice?

Madelin, on October 12, 2020 at 11:18 AM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 11
So I am nearly a month out from the wedding, (On Thursday it will be exactly one month) and today I started prepping. I did a sugar and olive oil scrub on my face and armpits, detoxifying charcoal mask, put lemon under my armpits (to lighten them), took my hair skin nails, and I plan to eat healthier, go to the gym, and do a cleanse sometime before the wedding.

Is there anything you did to prep for the big day? Is there anything you wish you did do? Am I missing anything lol? Any funny or weird stories or advice?
Also, is a bridal buddy a good investment?

When it hit the month mark I definitely started on my beauty routine which I just did teeth whitening strips for a few weeks leading up to the day and a sheet mask every week

Teeth whitening strips got it! Did you and your husband do them? Or just you?

I am less than one month out so every other day I do a korean skin mask or some kind of facial. To lighten the underarms and around the bikini area I am doing a mix of baking soda and lemon juice. I am watching close what I eat and apart from my bachelorette not having cheat days or meals. I am trying to start drinking more water. I have my check lists for what brides should do and yesterday started pre packing to make sure I have everything ready to go. Oh and start buying your day of needs such as toiletries or emergency kits.

If you don't mind sharing, what is on the bride checklist? Also, what would go into an emergency kit? Thank you so much for sharing!

Yeah sure. Here are a few links I have referred to and they have been helpful:

    https://www.brides.com/gallery/week-of-wedding-to-do-list

    https://hermannmoweddings.com/wp-content/uploads/brides-wedding-day-checklist.pdf

https://loverly.com/planning/news-tips/wedding-101/wedding-day-of-emergency-kit/ (honestly I got one from David's Bridal for like $20 which has basically all of this in one convenient pouch)
