So I am having a hard time picking a MOH. I have two candidates, my 18 year old sister and my cousin (who’s like my sister). So I am having a hard time picking a MOH. I have two candidates, my 18 year old sister and my cousin (who’s like my sister). My concern with asking my sister is that she would have certain responsibilities that I think would be too much for her or that she’s simply not experienced with. And she has a lot going on with school and work and normal 18 year old things lol. My cousin on the other hand is my age and I know could take on the responsibilities without a problem. I just don’t want my sister to feel bad. My wedding party is small just 4. Any advice? Thanks!! 😊😊

Hey! You can definitely have two MOHs. I have two. My best friend and my cousin that’s like a sister. My best friend is RESPONSIBLE and I know she will show up easily for me. I know she will take care of me on my day especially, cause my anxiety is through the roof. My cousin got the position because of our relationship. I know that my cousin is responsible too but she’s also in three weddings next year and I know she wouldn’t be able to be what I needed. So, I chose the both of them to be my MOHs and they both have separate but important functions that speak to their strengths and their relationship to me. If there’s no issue with you having two, I would say go for it.

You described me lol I am so highly anxious and need to be kept in check lol I know that my venue will provide me with a Bridal Attendant as well as a Maitre’D to do all those tasks like actually helping in the bathroom and making sure everything is going along. I honestly didn’t think of having two MOH lol and then I was thinking why even have one? all the girls are equally important to me, they could all just be bridesmaids without anyone superseding the other. I don’t know. I came on here because like most I haven’t planned a wedding and Google can really over-complicate things sometimes. And who better to ask than other ladies who are going/have gone through the same 😊.

Thank you for all of your help everyone!! ♥️
