mog & mob Gift ideas and what about the dads?

My mom and dad are doing a lot for me for my wedding- My dad bought my dress and alterations. He's also making all of my lawn games. And getting the meat for our reception dinner for about 100 people. My mom is making my wedding cake, making my flowers with me, and helping me with preparing the reception dinner. I want to do something special for them. I'm also struggling with ideas for them. I was thinking about getting them tickets to a dinner theater around here that they enjoy going to. And my mom a special necklace with a nice letter and a framed picture of my FH and I and one of her and I. And I'm trying to figure it something special for my dad.


Another issue I have is my FH's dad and step mom aren't really doing anything for the wedding so I'm not sure what kind of gift to get them because I don't want them to feel bad for not getting something... Ugh..I don't know. I suck at gift giving...

We have a lot of celtic elements to our wedding. I bought matching necklaces for bridemaids and matching ties and tie bars for the groomsmen. Then I found beautiful double heart celtic knot necklaces for mother and child. I'm getting MOB and OMG each one. For the FOG, im buying a tie to match the MOG dress and a celtic compass tie bar. He was an officer in the Navy, so I think he will enjoy it. All gifts will be from the both of us.

Both of our parents have wanted to help and gotten small things here and there but the gift for this is more about raising the man/woman we get to spend our lives with. So it's more a thank you for that then anything. I’m usually such a good gift giver but I’m stumped here lol.

We just gave IOUs for albums/prints of their choosing. Neither of our parents are really "stuff" people and prefer the sentimental gift of memories from the wedding day.

I look on etsy. If you type in mother/father of the bride/groom gifts, a bunch of ideas pop up. I work 3rd shift and I watch people sleep (for the most part) so I have extra time most nights to randomly search stuff. There's so cute sentimental ideas on there. Like a jewelry box that says "thank you for raising the man on my dreams" and stuff like that.

I'm not 100% sure on what we're getting his parents yet. I want to get his mom an engraved windchime bc she loves them and collects them. Everyone else, we're just kinda still looking to see what jumps out at us

When I'm on Etsy, I "favorite" everything I like and go back through later to see which ones I liked best. That's usually when I narrow stuff down as well to get my fiance's opinion

We got them the same necklace but the card had different sayings like thanks for raising the man who will be my groom, etc

Bride's Dad - Letter from bride, letter from groom, socks, tie with personalized tie patch on the back, picture frame.

Bride's Stepdad - Letter from bride, tie with personalized tie patch.

Groom's Mom - Her dress, tote, bracelet, letter from bride, letter from groom.

Groom's Stepmom - Tote, letter from bride, necklace.

Groom's Dad - Socks, letter from bride, letter from groom, tie clip, tie.

All of our gifts were just one gift from both of us.
