What is typical attire/color for the mother of the bride (And the groom?) My mom is asking me what she should wear and what colors are okay and I have no idea what to tell her!

My dress is a light blue/ivory color, and my bridesmaids will be in slate blue/grey dresses. The guys will be wearing navy suits, so I'm going to have MOB & MOG (and my step-mom too) wearing some sort of blue colors. Though MOB is leaning towards rose gold since that's my "accent" color. I honestly don't care as long as it's not white/ivory/light blue.

I just told my mom & the MOG what color my MOH & BMs are wearing and said, you can match it if you want or wear another color if you don't want to match, other than that please don't wear white and the ball's in your court!
