M&M's as wedding favors

My FMIL got them made for my baby shower and we still have like half a bag. That was well over a year ago.

Groupon gets amazing deals on them every now and then. I absolutely <3 ours!

I would skip the personalization. No one will care. Just do candy if you want. Don't waste money on the personalization when they are just going to get eaten or left at the table

We're doing m&m's in our wedding colors, but we're not doing anything personalized other than that. They're my favorite candy

I think they are awesome! FH and I really wanted to do that, but when it came down to it we decided on a candy buffet!

Apparently this is an UO, but I don't like M&M's. I also don't think personalizing them is worth the cost.

We ordered a sample batch to see if we would like it. They did come out cute but have not decided on ordering for wedding

I love edible favors. If I went to a wedding with chocolate I would load up lol..... However I don't think personalized m&ms are worth the mega bookoo dollars you spend on them. The pictures don't turn out great and it's a lot of extra money for printing. Regular m&ms are fine. When I eat chocolate I'm going to remember the taste, not who's face was on the front of it. IMO, eating something with someone's face on it is odd.

FH wanted to do this and it would end up costing us $300. For m&ms!! I said hell no.

I got these for our wedding. To me they don't look great like I imagined and I made a post but the people on here said no one will notice anyway. They were $158 for a five pound bag

I think the m&ms are great idea. And you won't have to worry about food allergies like peanuts. ( I'm sure there are some allergies to m&ms but I'm unaware of any)... make sure though that they don't melt. Maybe keep in freezer or refrigerator before hand?

Store them at room temp and they'll be fine. Their site says not to freeze or refrigerate

My mom is taking care of the favors and wants to do personalized M&Ms. I told her twice that they're reallllly not necessary and to save the money, but she loves favors and really wants to do them, so we are having them.

Anything edible I'm good with, especially chocolate! My sister did personalized M&Ms for her wedding, just with their name and date on them in their wedding colors. It was an easy favor to assemble with little goodie bags and didn't have many left over after the wedding.
