Missing Rsvps

I don't think that's normal for like half. Can you and FH make phone calls to check in?

I wouldn’t worry until a few days after your RSVP deadline. (I hated hearing this too when I was in your shoes) however.. you’d be surprised how many people wait until the last minute. You’ll get a ton back in the next few days. You might still have to follow up with some people that forget to reply.. but to answer your question, it’s normal Hang in there and stay calm!

I only had 60 out of 144 at my deadline last Saturday. But we had our parents check in with the people they knew and now we are all done with RSVPs. Don’t freak out!

Holy moly! That's crazy that so many people missed your RSVP deadline. That makes me feel way better though thanks!

Give them a few days afterwards as well. We had a bunch come back about 3 days "late" because out guests mailer them out on the deadline day. Then you just have to reach out to the rest. RSVPs were by far the worst part of the planning, but you'll get thru it, we all do.

This is what happened to me and my FH. Our RSVP date was July 31 and over half did not RSVP. We gave it to the end of that week and then we just reached out to them individually.

I’m in the same boat so I’m looking forward to seeing the responses. Our wedding is October 12th, we gave a September 7th deadline (with a 2 week cushion) and we’ve only received 55/145 so far. :/

My deadline is Friday and I'm missing answers from 26 houses, which is 40 something people out of 100 guest. Idk what's going on but its happening over here too girl lol

Ha. My rsvp date is September 1st too. And only a third have rsvpd. So annoying. Especially when you pay for the postage to mail them back. I’ll be making some phone calls here shortly...

Let me tell you, we asked about 10 people (each with a plus one)

the eight people that responded back to our message said yes. The other two I don’t think ever use FB messanger.

But you stress, I would start messaging people. Here is what I said:

hey, I am sorry to bother you! I am just finalizing some wedding stuff, and noticed you didn’t rsvp. Will you be able to make the wedding?

I wouldn't worry about it just yet. Your deadline isn't even here. The RSVP's aren't even technically missing at the moment. And don't forget that Monday is a holiday, so the mail won't even run that day.

Our RSVPs were due 6 days ago and we're still missing 22 of 86ish RSVP cards. -_- Starting to call people but ugh.

The same thing happened to me, I started reminding people 30 days before the final RSVP. Some people said they never recieved them or they were lost in the getting back to us. Good luck!

ME TOO!!!! The rsvp process has my nerves on edge! Half of my guest list responded the other half are getting phone calls/text messages.then for those that do not respond at all...it’s a no and will just be crossed off the list. Done with the stress!

Don't freak out too much! After the deadline has passed, then reach out. I'm sure you'll get quite a few back this weekend!
