Have any of you done the mirror seating chart for your reception? I am in love with this pic from pinterest. My wedding planner tried to discourage the idea because she says that a cardboard sign is cheaper and can be done last minute to accommodate changes. But since i have my heart set on it i am going to do it anyway. For those of you that have done it, have you used a calligraphy artist? Or a a decal? What would you suggest?

I have seen previous posts with recommendations for an etsy vendor (decalicious) but their store is taking a break right now. I have also called around to local print shops and it seems that they could make the decal and even install. What was your experience with these mirror seating charts ?

You could research using a cricut instead of hand writing them. You could cut sections at a time and then use their special transfer tape to place the whole section at once. It may be more legible than using marker.

We're doing the same thing but with an old French door with panes of glass in it. I think a mirror would be beautiful

I am DIYing this and i used a frame.

I took off the glass and I typed out the script like font I wanted. I taped it behind the glass and traced it on the front. I removed the taped stencil of the names and I spray painted the back in the mirror spray paint. Didn't turn out bad!! I'll have to attach a picture

We're doing a mirror seating chart for our wedding as well. My plan is to use a chalk marker to write it out. This past weekend, we went to the fairgrounds flea market and got soooo lucky!! We found a HUGE mirror and got it for only 40 bucks! I plan on turning it into wedding magic! lol

Sorry for the second post, it wouldn't let me put 2 pics because I'm mobile.... But I couldn't wait to get it home and start playing with it. FH wasn't seeing my vision, so of course I had to show him. Nevermind the sloppy numbers and flower arrangements, it was just to get my point across. All I had were a few of my left over dollar tree flowers, lol
