Minted Envelope Addressing

SamtasticLou, on November 12, 2015 at 2:34 PM Posted in Planning 0 15

Has anyone ordered STDs or Invitations from Minted and used their free addressing service? I'm curious how big the minted logo is on the back, and if it was worth using.

Loved mine! So easy and pretty. Just triple check the addresses and names! I messed up a few lol ETA: I got 130 envelopes for $20 (with shipping). Around the same price as normal envelopes when I was searching!

I got mine done when I had to pay for it. As you can see, the length of our names makes it a bit cramped and difficult to read. That is the font Minted chose to match the recipient address font which matches our STDs. Will definitely do it for our invitations, though.

Invitationsbydawn also has address printing for $1 each address and there are digital printers and calligraphers on etsy with reasonable pricing! I'll probably go that route!

I used them for my invitations and everything turned out perfect. I am a graphic designer so obviously was extremely worried to leave my invitations in the hands of another. The address labeling came perfect. Minted logo is not that big either. See photo.

Thanks for posting Michelle, the minted logo is much smaller than I thought it would be!

I too was worried about the logo on the back. It was barely noticeable, which was good. They did an amazing job printing our magnet save the dates. We also got the skinny wrap labels and used minted for our wedding menus and our placecards. Really great customer service.

Do you have to enter the addresses right when you order? They are having the foil sale this week and I've been waiting for that. I want to order them now but my guest list is not 100% finalized.

No, I think you can add the addresses in after.

I ordered my STD from minted with the free addressing. I did not pay extra for the return address printing on the back. It was simple, but a bit time consuming to add each address. They turned out really nice. They have a good variety of designs to chose fromas far as fonts and styles. The minted logo on the back is a light gray and to the edge of the back flap. Doesn't stand out much at all. I will be using it again for the invitations. As far the process, you can continue adding or adjusting addresses after the order is placed, but must be done before you approve the proof. Once the proof is approved it goes to be printed and you cannot make changes. I really am very happy with minted and the quality and ease of use. They are also priced well I believe.
