Mini-moon V.s Honeymoon

We are doing a cruise 8 moths after wedding but a mini moon right after. We are just going to Indianapolis for a few days. Nothing to
special we got a house with a hot tub.

Mini! 5 days in a cozy cabin in Asheville, NC. ♥️♥️♥️

I'm gunning for a proper honeymoon within a couple days of the wedding because I have no desire to go back to work or sit at home for a week. We'll have lived in our house for a year by the time we're married, so there's not much of a "settling in" period or anything for us.

We are doing both as well! We booked a cruise for November 2020 and are getting married in June 2020. Not entirely sure what we will do for our mini-moon yet but we have discussed a cabin in the mountains or some time touring wineries.

We are planning a week (or so) mini-moon to Lake Tahoe right after the wedding. And then for our one-year anniverary, we will plan a (hopefully) 7-10 day trip to Italy.

We are doing a mini-moon for several reasons. We are paying for our wedding ourselves, I started a new job less than a year ago and I don't have much vacation time on the books and I have a 12 year old daughter who we don't want to leave for an extended amount of time. We live in So Cal so we decided to do the quick 4 day Ensenada cruise and are leaving the day after the wedding!

What defines a mini-moon versus a honeymoon?

We are ALSO doing both! I've recently been diagnosed with a serious medical condition and don't know when I'll be able to travel out of the country for our honeymoon. Our venue is a lovely old mansion, turned Inn. We are getting married the Sunday before Christmas and will stay until the day after. Looking forward to the peace and quiet and simply, but finally being married. ❤ Now that I have this condition, it will be important that I rest those days following all the festivities. That is why we chose a mini-moon, plus it's a beautiful place, too.

We're doing both. For a few days after the wedding we're just doing a quick road trip to Montreal, just to unwind from the wedding. Our full honeymoon will be about 4 months after the wedding and we're traveling abroad for my fiance's birthday week.

I never knew that a mini moon was a thing! Just gave me an idea. Thinking since we live in delaware we might go to Florida for a few days and do an actually honey moon a few months later.

Both! We are doing a mini-moon to niagara falls right after the wedding and then our big "honeymoon" next summer around our 1 year anniversary to iceland!

I hope to do a mini moon following our wedding with just a small cabin getaway somewhere because our honeymoon will not be until the beginning of the following year when I am off of school!
