I don't see a problem asking your guests for cash only. I know many engaged couple's who have done it and they are all "millennials".

I'll take money the old fashioned way- in a card.

Ha. No way. I only have Venmo because a girl I follow on Instagram brought something back for me from Tokyo Disney. If someone is nice enough to write us a check, we will go to the bank and cash them. Like normal people in the "olden days" lol.

😂 Surprisingly no one wrote my husband and I a check, we just got cash in cards.

I'm a millennial, not a fan of the "just send me money" via venmo or paypal. I wouldn't ever do it. I don't hate honeyfunds, but we didn't do one. At least on a honeyfund you are "gifting" an activity (or at least you hope the money goes towards that) rather than just sending money over an app. I have no problem with gifting money, I just don't think it should be asked outright.

None of my guests sent us money through apps but 95% of them did give us cards with money in it.
