Mid September wedding colors

Courtney, on September 8, 2017 at 11:46 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 15

Hey everyone! I'm having trouble figuring out our wedding colors and I was looking for some help. Our wedding is going to be mid September and our venue is more of a cozy cabin/outdoorsy kind of style. I don't want any bright colors or pastel colors because I think those are more for summer weddings. But I also don't want fall colors, like the oranges reds and yellows. Ive looked on Pinterest and other places online and I haven't really seen anything I liked yet. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!

Start with just one color that you love. Then use a tool like www.design-seeds.com to develop a palette.

We are doing Navy and Gray with touches of Blush and Merlot! I had a friend just get married and she did gold and dark red/burgundy. I had a friend get married last year in November (a little later than yours I know) she did a deep forest green and ivory and it was BEAUTIFUL.

Same date. These are my colors, I'm still thinking of it as "summer" since fall technically isn't till the 22nd lol

Dusty rose is the main, navy, gold and instead of light pink I'm doing champagne now.

This has some great color combinations. I love the purple and greens of fall.

@Jaclyn I love those colors! And I think that's a great idea of switching the light pink to champagne is prefect! I might have to use those colors as well lol

What about burgundy? It's red but a deeper red so it's not as in your face red and screams fall. I am doing a lilac/lavender, blush pink, white, and sage green.

My date is later in September, and (even though I'm using the dark red/burgundy/merlot color, I'm also using a really muted gold and navy. I'm also seeing a rise in using an emerald and gold color scheme as well which could still be very pretty.

Hi month twin! Smiley winking Your date was what ours was going to be originally, but our venue was booked that day lol! We are doing outdoors on a woodsy farm in Kentucky, but not a barn wedding! Our colors (pallette) are navy blue, burgundy, plum, blush, and gold! Look on Pinterest, there are great palette inspiration photos! I didn't want just one or two colors, more like a nice theme that meshes well together. We also are doing tons of greenery, but mostly relying on the woods for that! Hope this helps!

Start with a color you love and then google "X Color wedding pallet"

Adjust from there. We found a wedding pallet we liked that was peach, burgundy and sage. Which felt really fall to me and Labor day is the last unofficial weekend of summer (fall isn't until September 22nd sorry about it!)

So we adjusted a little and googled a little, and finally came up with Coral, Sage and pops of yellow. Summery and yet not beachy!

You will find something no worries!

My wedding is end of September, but I'm doing dark purple, with green and gold as accent colors. My venue is a bit rustic, but I wanted to make it feel romantic and a bit glam. Attached is my palette inspiration.

Our wedding was supposed to be next Sunday so my colors are based off a September wedding. We have plum, a dusty lavender (bill levkoff's wisteria), and petal pink with accents of champagne and sage. So similar to what @ jacklyn showed but plum instead of navy and the middle color is a more of a pink to purple transition color.
