Michael Bublé and the Man-Gagement Ring

LOL Like the idea, never heard of a man-gagement ring!

Oh I love Michael buble that's a sweet idea but no rings are expensive I can't afford to get him an extra one

From my understanding it's not an extra one and they just use the same band for the wedding. His FW is from Argentina and apparently it's tradition for BOTH to wear a ring during the engagement period.

My fiance sort of has one. I bought him a ring for his birthday as a promise ring because at the time, we were going to have to wait a few years before getting married. I know it's very untraditional for a man to wear a ring on that finger before marriage, but I don't care. I wanted to mark my territory.

But then he proposed just after I gave it to him, so now it serves as an engagement ring. It ended up being just a smidge too small (he can wear it comfortably; it's just hard to get it off because he has big knuckles), so I'll get him a wedding band that fits him better and that way we can get a ring with a lifetime warranty so that he can get it polished and resized (if necessary) for free. When we get married, he'll just move his current ring to his right hand.

FH has a man-gagement ring--he showed interest in it after we looked at wedding bands for me and said he would wear one if we had one. So I went ahead and bought him one

FS thought about wearing his ring but we have a friend who is always breaking up with his FS - and we can tell cause if he;s still with her he wears a ring. FS didnt want to look at his ring that way

I bought my guy a promise ring after he bought me one back in 2006. We stopped wearing our rings about a year ago, but he keeps his in his flight suit as good luck.
