Metal Circle Arch for Backdrop

Lisa, on August 6, 2019 at 8:17 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 2
Hello, have any of you used a metal circular arch for your backdrop? If so, what is the best method to attach flowers and garlands on it? How did you decorate yours? I was planning on using zip ties and duct tape if its easily concealable but I'm still worried about the structural integrity and the potential of things following off of it mid reception. I'll add a picture for reference. TIA

I haven't, personally, but I make wreaths and my advice would be floral wire. It's thin so people don't see it, but sturdy and works great if you wrap it tight. I can't imagine it being much different than attaching flowers to a metal or wire wreath base. You can buy it at the dollar tree. And there's a lot of "how to" videos on YouTube.

    Hey there Lisa!

    Welcome to the WeddingWire community!

Circle arch backdrops are so pretty! Do you have inspo pics for how you would like the end result to look like?

I would definitely recommend you start by searching YouTube for DIY videos. I've also seen a few tutorials on Pinterest which may help you figure out the best way to approach this.
