Mermaid style dresses!

These are 2 that I really liked but didn't end up getting. The first picture was GORGEOUS in person, but I couldn't sit, and couldn't even step up a single stair. The second dress was my runner up.

I feel like a total dumb dumb but I didnt even bother trying to sit in my dress.. #fail. I did walk and I had no issues with that 😑 Oh man lol.

That first dress is gorgeous on you! Your smile is so beautiful and happy in the second. I got a trumpet gown myself and now that you mention it...I havent tried to sit either. Uggg super 🤦‍♀️

Alterations ensures that you can sit in the gown. Promise. lol!

I do know theres boning in it to help keep the girls up where they once used to be. I guess I'll find out next month at my final fitting if it will be standing room only for this bride 🤣

We won’t be sitting much anyway !!!!! Lol so that doesn’t matter ! Between the ceremony - pictures- greeting everyone - dancing the night away I can’t see us bride getting any down time lol that’s why we have honeymoons !!! Well not all of us lol ours is a bit after our wedding due to FH work which is fine lol our daughter is four so we don’t mind waiting until timing is good

I was leaning toward mermaid, but ended up getting a ballgown instead. I love the simple satin ones with a tulle skirt at the bottom

My ceremony dress is mermaid and my reception dress is a sheath style so I can be more comfortable with sitting, eating, dancing, etc.

Here is mine (stock photo). Unfortunately the picture I have with it on is a size too small! My final dress fitting is Friday.. I am SO nervous!
