Mermaid Dress

My wedding dress came in and I had my first fitting and it zips but is tight as hell on my ass. It’s a mermaid dress and I’m terrified I won’t be able to sit 😅 I already won’t be able to go to the bathroom without quite literally removing my dress.
I’m looking for the opinions of other mermaid brides. Were you able to sit and dance okay?

    Like Caytlyn said, I’d see if your seamstress can let it out a little. It sounds like your bridal boutique ordered the wrong size 😖. You should be able to sit comfortably at your wedding.

    I have a mermaid dress. It was my dream dress and I love it! To get passed the sitting problem, I will be changing into a different dress for my reception.
