Ok, so I'm really struggling with men's attire. I just don't know which direction to go in with this. FH is buying a new suit (or his parents are buying it for him as a gift). Most likely black, and I will pair it with a purple vest, tie and pocket square to match my BM dress color.
For the groomsmen, I'm having a lot of trouble figuring out the best way to go. I am hoping to keep the costs down for these guys as much as I can. At first we were thinking of full suits. Then I saw some stuff on Pinterest which made me think that maybe it would look ok if the GMs were just in pants/suspenders/ties with no jackets. A bit more casual, certainly cooler, and less expensive if we could put the outfit together cheaply enough. The GMs will wear suspenders in the same color scheme as FHs vest. This way, GMs could get their outfits (pants/dress shirt) at pretty much any department store, and it would be clothes they could keep, as opposed to a rental that costs a fortune and you have nothing to show for it later on.
So, I thought it was all a great idea, until I started thinking about what kind of pants. My colors are purple, black and silver. So, do I have them just get any black dress pants and a white dress shirt? Do the kind of pants matter? I don't know why this is so hard!!
Show me photos of your men's attire please!!!
