I plan on doing something like this with our grandparents picture that have passed away around the candle. I’ll have to make sure the candle is lit all night. It’s sweet but simple and doesn’t need crazy work on it

I lost my mom July 2018, before I was even engaged. This whole planning journey has been so tough so I feel your pain and sadness. To honor her, I purchased windchimes in our wedding color and had them engraved. I will hang them during our ceremony and am writing a note about them in our program.

I am so sorry and I understand exactly how you feel. For both my parents I will have a charm with their pictures to pin to my bouquet. A friend of mine had a table with pics of loved ones passed at her reception.

My daddy passed away in 2006 when my only child was a newborn. He will never know how my dad loved me more than life. He told me once that he wouldn't live to be an old man he'd be dead earlier. I was shocked but he was right. I cry often about my daddy and am totally pissed. But the person I was with before he passed he met and liked him. We are now marrying 15 yrs later. I'm doing a moment of silence announced by the pastor when the ceremony you begins. My dad's family will be surprised shocked and balling their eyes out. Mission complete.

Wow 😢 I completely feel your pain, my mom past away when my daughter was 5 months, I am happy she got to meet my only child, but sad that she couldn’t enjoyed her longer, I have faith that her spirit is with us everyday. Great Idea of honoring your father, many blessing.

Hello Danielle. My dad died back in 2013. I never thought that I would be getting married. Now that I will on 10/16/2020, in his honor I will do a moment of silence for him. I miss him so much. I will get my two boys to walk me down the isle.
