May 2nd wedding cancelled due to corona virus

It’s official. We were forced to cancel our May 2nd wedding. We live in IL and the stay at home order was extended thru April 30th, and a wedding just can’t be done 2 days later. Besides the fact that the order will probably be extended.
SO....we are getting married in our living room! Same day, May 2nd with just my mom, brother, sil (who was also my maid of honor) and my fiancé’s parents. Planning has now turned to making a beautiful living room wedding. I will still have my dress, but men’s warehouse cancelled my fiancé’s tux order so he will be wearing a suit he already has. My jewelry is trapped at Macy’s (pre sale that I couldn’t pick up until March 20th but by then IL was shut down) so may or may not be able to get it. Lots and lots of struggles but I’m ok. Plans change, I still am marrying the man I love. Oh and we are fighting to get our full deposit back from our venue, so there’s that too
I just wanted to say, stay positive, this is all beyond our control. Just because your wedding won’t be what you imagined doesn’t mean it won’t be amazing.
