I am planning my Masquerade Wedding for next year and continue to run into the same problem. My wedding colors are Tiffany Blue and Fuchsia and all the bridal party will be wearing masks to go with the theme. My fiancée and I will also being wearing one. Now I was recently in New Orleans and found the PERFECT Tiffany Blue mask for myself, but now I am thinking I should be more traditional and wear a white mask. But then again masquerade wedding isn't very traditional. What are your thoughts.

Ive never been to a Masqurade wedding, but I have been invited to other formal Masqurade parties. at both, literally not a single person besides the hosts wore masks. if youre expecting guests to wear masks i wouldnt get your hopes up

You all make very very good points !! We are all having the mask with the handles on them like Nastassia said!! So I am not worried about the springs pulling my hair or the mask rubbing off my make up. As for the guest. The place cards are going to be accompanied by a cute unique mask for every guest. I will not expect them to wear them but they def can of they would like. Like I said all of the masks are only part of a decoration and will only be worn for fun and during times of the reception. And I chose this them oppose to a Flordia wedding where I would be sweating in the middle of May ! And as for the one who suggested getting married on Halloween that is a def no go. My fiancée and i grandmas birthdays are both on May 18 and they are no longer with us so we are doing it to honor them !!

If it's mostly for pictures, get a blue and a white and change them up at your leisure.

I would buy one on a stick, that you can just use as a photo prop, as opposed to one that you actually wear. I think white would be better for the bride.

Also, please change your avatar to something other than the rings! They are associated with spam/trolls, so it will help you get more responses!

May I ask how your wedding went? I am planning my wedding now and this is the exact theme my fiancé and I have choose long before he ever popes the question. But we are wanting it all throughout the wedding and all and my mask is to be jewels that will be affixed to my face. It looks really elegant and I’ve always that masquerades were as well.
