Egads... so this is what I have to deal with 11 days out... We are having a mashed potato bar. Not unusual at all. My caterer has changed things up somewhat and I'm not so thrilled with her plans. We changed a couple things back, but the big decision (ha...in the greater scheme of things) is what to serve the stupid spuds in.

At first she changed it so that condiments for the masheds are on the table...that became problematic...so we put them back onto a station of their own.

NOW the issue is what to serve them in...caterer says put them on the plate with other food... I've seen them served in martini glasses... I know... I know... first world problems.

How would you want to have your mashed potatoes served - on your plate or separate glass??

I was at a bridal shower that served them in martini glasses and it was really annoying because it was messy and I couldn't get the potatoes from the bottom ha. I would say plate is fine.

Ours serves them in the martini glasses. I love how they look, and they use bigger glasses so it's not like you get next to nothing. I'm really excited about this part of our reception!! Smiley laugh
