At this point, I don’t care if anyone shows up and it’s just our families. I just want it done and over with. I feel so bad for all of us brides. We want this amazing wedding and now it’s been so stressful and upsetting.

What county are you in in CA? I'm down in Ventura and NO body is issuing marriage licenses around here except Orange County but we'd have to drive down there in person. Since it doesn't matter, in CA, what county you get your license from I'd love to explore your county!! Any help is appreciated.

I’m in Northern California and we went through Alameda County! It’s in Oakland you email and they send you the paperwork in the email! It’s requires getting your signatures notarized and UPS has a notary service! We sent it off last week and still waiting 😭 it’s been so stressful!

THANK YOU!!! I'm going to attempt it. Our wedding isn't until June but I want to have the license in hand so that we can just do a small ceremony if needed.

Has anyone heard about any directive in nyc? Our Governor passed ability to issue license virtually. I haven’t seen anything yet.

View Quoted Comment I have tried calling 311, internet, covid information hotline and all they tell me that they are preparing. No update on the website. We submitted our application early April.

We going to another country and get our license but we can get ours the same day. It's only good for 60 days so make sure you get it close to ur wedding
