Maroon in june?

Originally I wanted a maroon wedding in Oct. Now we are doing june but I still want maroon. Someone mentioned how it's not the season to do maroon ? Do u think it would look bad or be weird to do maroon in june anyways? Why does it have to be "the season".?

    Seasons don't matter. You can do whatever color you want. If it bothers you, add maybe a lighter accent color, like blush or something.

    I think if you did maroon and then a iighter/brighter color for bouquets it'd look good!

    I did plum and maroon(ish) in August... unless you're going for a particular seasonal theme I don't think the month should determine your colors at all.

    I don't believe that there are "Seasons" for wedding colors. If you want to warm it up try adding a brighter accent color. To make it more moody, add lots of greenery or metallics. Make it softer with neutrals, paler pinks and/or romantic whites.

    I have been told I have a spring/summer color. My colors lavender and shades of it, I added shades of deep purple to look more winter. I love the colors so I really don't care that it doesn't match the season. I think this is a moment when you can say "my day my way" on the colors.
