Same date here and also FL! I’m with you, it is hard because I feel like comfortable outdoor wedding season here is like 2 months Feb and March. Not only is it hot in the summer but also the rain! And moving to Nov/Dec isn’t much of an option since we just had a hurricane in November. We are moving ahead with a small outdoor wedding and our plan B is just cut the guest list further as needed. If our venues shut down then we will need a plan C and nobody I know has a big backyard lol.

Good ideas. We are going along as planned and hopefully we won’t have to change dates but we are waiting until January to see if the Rona will affect our plans. This is my fiancé’s and I both first time getting married and I don’t want any restrictions but if we have to I understand. I’ll just pray for the best!!!

Kylie, are you a Christian?? Girl, I graduate from my masters like 3 months after getting married, and my fiancé is graduating from his Bach 2 months after HAHA. So we’re with y’all on the making everything chaotic part hahaha. Yeah, there’s SO much brokenness in this world, but for some reason, Corona is the only piece that matters the most. What i thought was hilarious is the fact the like right before elections and day of election, I heard NOTHING about the Corona virus on the news. My job plays the news all of the time lol. All I heard was politics Bc that’s all media cared about, then once elections was over they’re hyping up the spikes in the U.S. so I def agree that the media needs to be muted. And YES me too and we will!! And yes!! I didn’t even realize it until after we set the date. What made you guys pick that day?

I am :-) that's probably the biggest reason why I have such a peace about the wedding! Good for you going to get your masters!! We picked Sunday because it was like $2,000 cheaper than Saturday and because my fiancé's apartment lease was ending beginning of March so we just went okay well get married beginning of March hahahaha what about you? March isn't crazy hot in Texas either the weather is totally doable too

March 27, 2021 is our wedding date in Canton, GA and I've got my fingers crossed that everything can move forward without hesitation. We have 125 guests and can narrow that down to 50 if need be. We are both in our 40s so we really don't want to push the date out. My biggest fear right now is all the money that has already been paid including the honeymoon and flights that are booked and paid for. I know that our family and friends health is more important but this is the wedding of my dreams to the man of my dreams and I want it to be perfect. Dang Covid needs to go ahead and get gone! 132 days until we say I DO! March 2021 Brides 1

Me toooo, sister!!!! Love me some God, who brings peace which surpasses all understanding. Oh, well that worked out perfectly. Yeah, same. Because it’s cheaper! And we wanted to do a Sunday brunch wedding since it’s basically a church service, and we plan to glorify God anyways hahaha. But venue ended up not being able to do it so we just decided Sunday night Smiley smile we also chose it Bc my break is that week so we can go on our honeymoon. He’ll just have to ask off for his internship. I have family in Houston and Port Arthur! I love Texas!

Hey Amy! I know this was written in response to Kylie BUT I just wanted to chime in because I am a Christian too! It’s so awesome to read you and Kylie’s comment because I love me some God too! ❤️ And you are right he does grant us peace that surpasses our understanding. It makes things so much easier in these times having him walk right beside us!

Aww! Sister! That’s so awesome. I never thought I would have such encouragement in my faith through a wedding forum. Your post is my first one I’ve ever responded to, and it never crossed my mind to meet other believers on here, especially ones that encourage during the midst of the unknown. Where are you from, Brianna? When are you getting married?

You are so right! I honestly didn’t expect to find such encouragement on here either. It was so comforting and refreshing to read you and Kylie’s comments. Because it’s so easy to get caught in the media and focus on that stuff when instead the best option is to just fall back into God and trust that even in the midst of a “pandemic” he is still GOOD! I am from the state of Florida and I am getting married the day before you 3/13! ❤️

The worse it gets, the more my fiancé and I get nervous.. We've been talking about canceling the big wedding now.. It sucks, but it's not about everyone else, it's about us. We're gonna make that decision in mid January.

I'm not too worried, I've been asking every single person I can at every venue about covid restrictions and they all have plans in place to prevent an impromptu cancellation 🤞

Our original date was March 28, 2021 even pre-pandemic. We are going to keep the ceremony that date, with the number of guests TBD and are planning to have our "reception" in October 2021 with all of our original guest count of 200. Prayerfully it will work out that way.

3/7/21 here! Because Sundays were def cheaper!

To be honest, my trust is in the Lord. Until he says otherwise, Full steam ahead for me. Most of our guests are in state and we've already spoken to our venue about social distancing measures. Plus our venue can have 75-100 even with coven restrictions. Our ceremony will be outside and reception a few feet away indoors. We will also have masks and sanitizer everywhere. We likely won't postpone. We've already made large payments and we both don't want to postpone our wedding date or honeymoon. March 2021 will get what it gets lol Even if its only 50 people. Im also hoping its not the full amount of people anyway lol. It'll be nice not to make that final payment for 100 guests still. And thankfully, our venue bases the remaining payment on the final guest count list 30 days before Smiley smile

Definitely nervous. Plan b would be to shrink guest list to only immediate family or plan c only us and we elope (then have a big party next year...if we can)
