I already had his ring and I gave it to him the day that we came home. He seems to be a lot happier to show it off to people, he is so excited To call me his fiance constantly.

    I'm Brazilian. We live in the US but my family is from Brazil. It is definitely a a wonderful tradition.

    Yep I read management ring too. My FH despises jewelry. I got him a silicone wedding ring to wear daily and a nice wedding band to wear on special occasions. He doesn't want to wear anything pre marriage, lol

    That's really cute! I love his ring. My hubby didn't get a "man-gagement" ring, per se, but his wedding band is his grandfather's, and he started wearing it once his grandpa gave it to him. So, a month or two into our engagement? So it's like an engagement ring to him, but it's also his wedding band. I'm going to be getting him the wedding band we picked out for him on our first anniversary.

    I think it depends on the person. My FH would not wear one even if I got one for him. However I'm sure there are many men who would enjoy having a ring.

    I'm not sure, he found it on Amazon and just liked the look of it and best thing about it, it was only $30!
