Hi all. May be that I am not the only one having this problem but wonder if people have found a solution. When I type my name and weddingwire into a google search my website doesn't show up. Site is listed as searchable. Any ideas what I can do to fix this? I choose ww bc I was tired of the knot...

Hi all. May be that I am not the only one having this problem but wonder if people have found a solution. When I type my name and weddingwire into a google search my website doesn't show up. Site is listed as searchable. Any ideas what I can do to fix this? I choose ww bc I was tired of the knot from other weddings but I would like the site to be searchable in google. Thanks in advance!

I'm on mobile so I can't link this, but try these steps:

Stephanie - I was having the exact same problem, and made the exact same solution. Unfortunately, the Knot hasn't updated yet so it looks like so I keep getting panicked emails that I haven't updated the hotel room blocks, or people see our incomplete registry list (the knot won't let me add BluePrint, go figure). I can't even remember now why I decided to switch from the Knot to Wedding Wire for my wedding site, but I'm considering completing both for those lazy googles, as well as those that bother to read the invitation.

    So frustrating!

My website doesn't show up on a google search either. I think people will google it vs. typing the entire hyperlink.

Thank you for this awesome suggestion! I think this is a really silly issue in the world of google and social media that we live in. Thanks again for find something that works.

@Lynnie has WW fixed this issue so that people can google our wedding websites?
