Makeup Artist Pricing?

My makeup artist charges $55 for bridesmaids, and $80 for myself. I asked my girls who was interested and if they weren't it was fine too. They are paying for it. But you can if you like. I've paid for my own for past weddings I was in.

Since it's only me I'm getting my hair and make up done in a salon. I'm doing it at the salon and they will charge $55, if it requires traveling they would charge $95

My hair and makeup the day of (airbrush + false lashes) is $250 and my bridesmaids are $200, but that includes a travel fee we had to pay because we're outside of city limits.

I'm paying $650 for hair/makeup in NYC for trial and day of. My MOH and mother are paying for their own hair/makeup.

Tri-state area is 100-200$/ service.

I paid for gratuity and travel fees- I asked anyone to help pick up their own tab since the whole bill was 900$ for 4 make up and 3 hair.

Mine is $210 for my hair and makeup. BM makeup is $75. I think if you're going to have the MUA there you should give your BMs the option, I know I'd want to have mine done. If you make it optional for them there's no problem with asking them to pay. But of course it's a nice gesture to pay for them! I'm paying for mine

In Toronto, Canada here, I'm paying $240 for hair and makeup, $155 for each BM and MOB, this includes travel. My trial is an additional $150.

My makeup artist is 75 per person for airbrush. This is her pricing when she travels to you. In the salon it's 60 I think.

Mine is $350 total for me and my MOH/BMs, and that includes the travel fee. Then, it's an extra $15 for lashes per person.

I also plan to pay for everyone's makeup.

I'm paying 110 for hair and 100 for makeup. BM and MOB/G are 75 for each. No ones required to use their service though, they'll be at our venue.

My makeup artist is including lashes, a prewedding skin treatment and will stay during pictures for any touch ups.

BM Hair &makeup is $170 each and they are paying for it (I asked them what price they were comfortable spending and let them know the cost before booking it)

My hair and makeup was $450, bridesmaids were $140 each, MOB/MOG were $130 each. I covered the cost for everyone. I got married up in the mountains and the rate included their travel time.

In NY, I'm paying $1,600 for hair and makeup for myself, my FMIL, MOH and three bridesmaids. This includes what I paid for my trial ($200) and gratuity. She also isn't charging me for my daughter hair. For her quality and experience, I think I got a great price.

South Jersey. The MUA I plan to book is $75 for bride, $60 pp for bridal party. Lashes included. $20 travel fee + gratuities.

Just curious does anyone know why the bride's hair and makeup cost so much more than the BM? It's still just a hairstyle, and make up... I get sometimes it includes the trial but the ones I've looked at don't and it just doesn't make sense to me.

I was gifted my make-up by my Celebrity make-up artist friend! (She loves me) But she also ALWAYs does my make-up for anything I have going on (of which I pay her). Her make-up base fee is $75 when you come to her for any make-up appointment. Her bridal fee starts at $175 for the bride and rises. Her fee rises also the longer you want her to stay with you for touch ups.

@Jamie-Leigh, I think the MUA spends more time on the bride, uses more product, etc. For Las Vegas, I got makeup/hair quotes ranging from $150 to $300. I'm going with the $150. The BMs and Moms were invited to make appointments, some of them opted to do their own makeup. The bride only needs to pay for the BP if a certain look or hair style is required.
