Major dress regret!

Ok so I’m having some huge dress regret. Bought a dress and ordered in a color I wasn’t sure about (pics in my previous forum thread). Now, I found THIS dress pictured here and I love it. But I’m worried about purchasing another one only to have more dress regret. Help?

Gotcha. In that case, I think I prefer the dress in this thread. Though both are very pretty! I would pick the dress you feel the most beautiful in.

Sell the dress you hate. Then go try on all the dresses...ALL the dresses. Even the ones you don't think you will like. Have your MOH write down the things you like in each dress and go from there. You don't have to make a decision yet, in fact you don't have to decide and purchase until May/June 2021. Slow down and enjoy the experience.

Thank you. I've been rushing the process. Between COVID having me feel like I need to make quick decisions and my cousin now getting married a week after me, I haven't really taken any time to enjoy the process.

I get it girl! When you start feeling yourself spinning out, repeat these words to yourself "Sloooooow Doooown Mustang Sally." This wedding is yours(and your fiancé) make the decisions based on what you guys want. I struggle with being a people pleaser so i take what others want/think to heart more often than i should, and I've almost done that in my wedding. Let your cousins wedding be hers and yours be yours. If you guys accidentally pick the same thing, chalk it up to great taste!

I know exactly how you feel, I was due to get married in May and had to postpone it until next May and because we changed the venue I decided that maybe I needed a different dress so the past few weeks I've been looking at different dresses and have found one that has made me feel so much more that it's, "the one" than my original one did. Sometimes the pressure of trying to find the right dress in the time constraints you have at bridal shops now can be a little overwhelming and you end up choosing a dress that may not be 100% what you envisioned. If this dress makes you feel like it's "the one" then I would say go for it, sell your other dress on one of the pre owned wedding dress sites, you might lose some money but it's your one big day and you deserve to feel 100% like a star. Do not look at any other dresses if you get it though lol.

If you truly do not like the first dress, sell it to get some money back. Then stop looking once you find something you love.

Both dresses are incredibly beautiful! I'd just make sure you have the funds for both dresses just in case the first one does not sell, or sells for less than you hoped!

I gotta say looking at your dress from your previous post compared to this one, I like this one much better, but it's all up to your personal preference and what makes you feel beautiful for your big day. Depending how much your first dress was, you could get this one and resell the first, I've seen them being sold on Facebook marketplace if your friends don't want to buy it. And then I agree with other, stop looking if you decide to buy this second dress. I've had my dress for a year and a half and now there's another year until my wedding, and it's been hard to not want to look at what else is out there, but I just look back at the photos from the day I picked it and it reminds me why I picked that dress and that I don't need to see what else is out there.

But in the end whatever you decide is what was meant to be!
