Maitre’d fee question !

I am a wedding maitre'd at a hotel. This service is included with our wedding packages, so I don't know how well I can answer that. Tips are really appreciated though! There's a lot happening backstage that we don't want our guests to know about (not that it's really bad, but you don't need to know that the chef forgot a kids meal and has to make it on the fly. Or all the lighting, waiters running around, etc. But we try to make you blissfully unaware along as just blissful in general!)

Hey there, Aaliyah. I’m afraid I don’t know the average fee for a Maitre’D. Perhaps the different fees you’re seeing is due to different levels of responsibility or larger staff they are managing? I’m sorry I can’t offer any insights! Don’t be afraid to question the different venues and ask for clarification if you’re seeing fee discrepancies!
