Maid of honor in different dress?

All of our bridesmaids wore different dresses, but we had bridesmaids in shades of mauve and MOH in burgundy. Maybe you could go with a different color? A belt?

It's entirely your choice. If you want her to wear a different color or have a different bouquet then go for it.

If they're all wearing the same dress and you want your MOH to stand out, you could have her attach a sparkly belt to her dress, or give her a different color bouquet, or have her dress be a different length than the others.

I've seen other brides have them wear a different shade of the color.

My sister will be in a different MOH dress! My girls are in dusty blue and dark blue and she's in silver. They're all in different styles too because I want everyone to be comfortable.

I wasn’t able to have my big wedding this year but reception next year this is the look I’m going for. My maid of honor and matron of honor will be in gold, bridesmaids in green. This was the card I gave them to say thanks for being by my side on zoom lol

All my bridesmaids & maid of honor will be wearing the same dress, but they have the option to change the look of the dress.
This is their dress as it do all these looks and any other they come up with.

I let mine all choose their own but she was the only one that chose a short dress

I have a total of 3 (2 bridesmaids & 1 MOH). My sister is my MOH & she’s wearing burgundy & the other 2 are wearing red. All get to choose their own styles, my only requirement is I want them long.

All of mine are wearing the same color, length, and fabric from the same place. They all picked their own styles, and it just worked out that she is the only one who picked a dress with lace.

I love your idea of having the MOH stand out! I'm asking all BMs to wear cocktail length black dresses (of their choice), and I'm asking my MOH to wear a floor-length black dress of her choice. Best of luck to you in your planning!

My maid of honor was supposed to be in the same dress, but a week prior she informed me she hated how it looked after alterations so she was refusing to be in photos. She ended up with a different dress, but in the same color. Her flowers were also different as that was how I wanted her to stand out.

My MOH will be wearing a different style dress but in the same color. I gave them the option to pick but everyone liked the dresses I suggested so it all worked out. I hope you get to have what you'd like

I’d like my maid of honor to stand out. By the bouquet she’s holding, the style and color color of dress and hairstyle. She’ll stand apart from the other bridesmaids.

All of our bridesmaids wore different dresses. I love the way that looks! I think having your MOH in a different color would make her standout.

My bridesmaids all wore different dresses but all in rose gold fabric. My MOH wore a dress with rose gold sequins on the bodice and blush chiffon skirt. She definitely stood out and I loved the different colors in photos!

I find it hilarious your fiance has an opinion on this!
