Stacy, on March 7, 2020 at 3:02 AM Posted in Planning 0 6

I have read about maid of honor/best man proposals. We cant even decide who to pick! My choice depends on his. Who asked with a proposal gift and how did you do it?

I asked off of my bridesmaids and moh with proposal gifts! I got white gift boxes from amazon, filled them with the crinkly paper you put inside of gifts. I made pictures on the computer that matched our wedding colors (same flowers from invitation) and put their names on it and each of them had a different quote like “he’s marrying me but he’s stuck with us! Will you be my bridesmaid?” And i taped them on the inside of the lid. Then i bought little gift sets from bath and body works that had a hand sanitizer, lotion, and body spray. I added body scrub pack from target, shot glasses that said bridesmaid, and these little bracelets from amazon that look like a knot that say will you help me tie the knot! They all loved them! 😍Maid of honor/ best man proposals? 1

I made proposal boxes. I would have liked to have asked all the girls together but with schedules it wasn't possible so I met each of them for dinner. I tried to get there before them and had the box sitting on the table when they got there. I got the boxes from home goods and filled with various items (small rose candle from b&bw, bridesmaid makeup bag with a few goodies inside, mini champagne bottle, personalized wine glass, rose gummy bears, champagne macaroons, picture frame with pic of us and succulent plant in a holder). I included a little bio about all the girls and basic wedding info including color palette.

We didn't do the proposal gift stuff (we were widow/widower remarrying), instead I found a beautiful picture that matched our colors, printed it out, addressed it to Mr. Mrs bestman/moh (husband/wife) and we handed it to them in church and then we set back and watched them open it up. It was a beautiful moment. The way their faces lit up we knew it was a yesss. They are several years younger than us but we look up to them and we officially decided they would be our godbrother/sister. They said that was the best gift ever.

I didn't get a whole box of stuff because they ended up being too expensive. I did send them cards that I found on etsy. They had scratch off hearts on them that revealed the "will you be my bridesmaid" question. They were really cute
