Maid Dresses: peau de soie or dupioni?

I don't know what either of those are... lol!! Do you have any pictures of examples?

I like both! What time of year are you getting married? I think peau de soie is more appropriate for fall and winter because it's matte, while dupioni works year-round. My personal preference would probably be the peau de soie, especially for a wedding with a classic/60s feel.

I am using the same designer. Dresses are midnight dupioni. My friend also used this fabric and the dresses came out very pretty!

I love the Dupioni dress - just so long as none of your bridesmaids are heavy up top! i think both fabircs look nice but i suppose you have to consider do you prefer the matt or shiney? i think the peau de soie would look more retro. but both are lovely!
