Made of Honor Doesn’t want to wear a dress

One of my close friends is very tomboy and doesn’t wear dresses. She doesn’t feel comfortable in them. Should I ask her to wear one for the ceremony? What are some other options?

The majority of my bridal party are tomboys so I have a little over half of them in pants
I don't have any pictures of all of them together yet but my maid of honor and two other bridesmaids are wearing button up whote shirts and high waisted navy slacks with decorative belts and the other two begged to wear something more feminine so they're wearing white button up shirts (which we've added a bow) and high waited blue skirts
I also told them up front that I had every intention of if they buy something- they'll use it for more than just my wedding so that's why I was so willing to let my bridesmaids wear tailored slacks. If my bridesmaids would he miserable in dresses why force them to wear a dress for a whole day when they'll just be uncomfortable and self-conscious?
I also know that most people probably don't have as strong am aversion to dresses as my friends (my maid of honor wore a dress exactly once in her life and half way through the day she changed out of it because she hated the way it felt)

You could ask her. Who knows she may be fine with wearing one for your wedding? But if she steadfastly refuses to wear a dress, then maybe you could decide on something else.
