Made my own arbor.

So I'm getting married at a renaissance faire. Although nerve wracking to some, we will have to set up tents, tables, chairs, etc. All the night before...and pray for good weather. I have purchased fake flowers and an arbor from hobby lobby. I kinda like the asymmetrical looked, but maybe a few more?

A renaissance faire! Oh how I envy you, that was my dream venue but so out of budget. I hope you’ll post pics!
I think you’re off to a great start but the legs of the arch should be covered. Can you add more greenery so the wisteria still stands out on top? I like the design, it’s like a faerie arch.

You did fantastic with your arbor! My only suggestion would be to add more flowers/greenery Smiley heart

    Hey Kelly!

That is so cool that you’re getting married at a renaissance faire! Super unique and what a memorable experience it will be for your guests!

This is turning out to be so good! Personally, I would add more flowers and greenery until all the white of the arbor is covered!

What else are you DIYing for your wedding day?

Making jingle sticks...glasses and China would be a bad idea since the faire is at a park, so rather than clinking a glass to make noise I've taken dowel rods wrapped ribbon around them and added a few bells. Also making family crest banners and a canvas painted tree so family can add their thumbprints.

Initially we looked into a bigger more established renaissance faire and I agree the cost was colossal. But we found a smaller faire in its 3rd year! They've never done a wedding before so we'll see how it goes. The arch was bought at hobby lobby.
