Hi! I want to have gold utensils at my wedding but don't want to spend too much! I came across this website that seems to be the cheapest option available, but also seems too good to be true. They're called Luxury Utensils, they're based in NJ, say utensils are .49 a piece and they ship them to you wherever you are! They seem like they were newly founded (2019) so that may explain the lack of online presence/testimonials, but I just really want to do my homework on this one. Has anyone here ever used them?

The prices to rent are good. However, I live in Brooklyn and there are limits to the number of people in post office where I live . They sent me the utensils two weeks before my event stating the postal service was not delivering in time. I had a difficult time sending back the utensils. I was finally able to get to a post office in queens. I just received a bill for $515( $500 late fee and $15 for a missing fork), because the utensils were late. I asked why I was not afforded the same courtesy they used when sending it out and the rude lady Patty in the email said you only have two days to return the utensils. Mind you I paid for the rental a year ago and my event was canceled because of Covid-19. Then postal issues because of Covid-19.

    Hey Y’all,

I am happy to say I used this company and loved them! They arrived about 3 days before my ceremony date and they looked AMAZING. Great quality. The shipping box was a little bumped up but it was only because the boxes were very heavy due to the weight of each piece ! We used the rose colored Flatware. Will post pics when I can!!

    BEWARE

Although the flatware is beautiful, I think the service is a bit disorganized. They sent me a contract originally with another persons information. Then they charged me $420 for 28 missing utensils that I am absolutely positive is wrong! I had changed my order from 360 to 330 pieces (110 3 pc sets) prior to my daughters wedding once the guest count was in. I believe they are basing the missing pieces on the original order. When I asked them to recount and I sent my updated order to show the reduced amount, there was no response. No communication at all. My credit card was just charged. I am contesting with my credit card company. I have read other reviews with claims of missing utensils and I wonder if it’s their MO??

They are not accredited by BBB

I used them for our September wedding and it was a good experience! Flatware was perfect – just what I wanted and the price was definitely better than anything else I could find. The boxes are VERY heavy so be prepared for that, and like others have mentioned they charge $15 per missing utensil so make sure your venue is on top of it! The only other downside is that you have to wrap up all of the flatware and put rubber bands around groups of 10 utensils before boxing and shipping back – we left for our honeymoon so my poor dad had to do all of this for us. Definitely time consuming, but overall the company was responsive and great to work with – I would definitely recommend!

I would not suggest using them. I was sent the wrong sample after multiple e mails. No one is available when you call. they only e mail. I even gave them my phone number in an e mail and still dinn't call. Excuse of moving office. They charge $15 for each lost utensil, which I would have NO control over at venue. If you don't get all the utensils back in two days after event, some one else was talking about a $500 fee. I had to ask for a contract with all this in it. They NEVER offered it. WHAT A HEADACHE dealing with them. Would never trust with 25 place settings if they cant get ONE right!!!

I would request their contract first and read very carefully. They charge $15 per lost utensil and you must return within two days after your event or there are more fees. I could never get a call returned or talk to someone live. I decided not to use them after they sent the wrong sample

Hi Jenn, did you end up ordering after all? If so did it go well? I want to order as well but am a bit iffy if it’s a legit company.
