Low back shapewear

Nicole, on December 13, 2019 at 4:04 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 4
Hi everyone! I am getting desperate looking for shapewear that works with my dress. I need a low back, ideally open bust body suit that goes down at least to my thighs-this is impossible to find. The only thing even remotely close I can find is a Spanx one piece that has terrible bra cups that flatten my breasts and make them push out at the side. This search is killing me- I just wanted one day that I wouldn’t feel self conscious about my body. I thought I found a dress that I loved and made me feel great. When I got it in my size suddenly nothing about it the dress worked. It could hardly get taken in because of the low back and it grazes my narrow hips in a way I don’t like. I just know if I could find shapewear that worked it would make a world of difference. All I want is something to smooth me out. I’ve looked at all the old forum discussions and haven’t found anything yet. My tailor couldn’t cut the bodysuit I had to fit my dress. Please help!!!! Feeling desperate and hopeless...

I'm doing two separate pieces, a shapewear skirt and then cups in my dress for the girls. I'm a bit worried about smoothing effect on my back but with a lowcut back I didn't want to worry about shapewear showing either

Welcome to the WeddingWire community, Nicole.

I'm sorry you're struggling to find shapewear for your dress.

I've seen brides speaking about the Spanx wedding range in the community with their different configuration, it's such a pity they don't have one to suit your style dress.

Do you think using two separate pieces as Neeva mentioned could work? During your search, have you found any separates you could combine?

I would try two separate pieces like Neeva said!

also you could try Macy's and sometimes JC Penny has decent ones.

You are going to look gorgeous on your big day Smiley heart
