I am having the straps shortened, which raises the back slightly.

I was going to try the sewn in cups instead of a bra, but I can't do them because I am a 34DD. The pasties aren't going to do it for me either. I need a lowback bra, with the emphasis on LOW. I was thinking maybe something like this http://tinyurl.com/a4rgj2t ... but I don't know if the back is low enough?? Any tips? Thanks ladies!

No you definitely can't have anything with straps, which is unfortunate. In general there are three options:

    - adhesive bra

    - low back bra/bustier

    - braless

Since you're a DD cup, however, I think the low back bra/bustier is the only option that is realistic.

I think your best bet might be the body shaper options - like http://www.ebay.com/itm/Backless-Full-Body-Shaper-Thong-Convertible-Seamless-Low-Back-Max-Cleavage-9001-/360487536843

With DD . . . . maybe you could use one of the adhesive ones AND the body shaper and combined they'd give enough support? I've used adhesive ones myself for ddd cup when a dress had a wimpy built-in bra, and the combo worked.
