For the second time since having my engagement ring I've knocked a sapphire out of it. I almost literally choked on water when I realized it. I hit it against my computer desk at work and when I looked at my hand the stone was gone. Thankfully a coworker helped me find it but terror quickly set in because the jewelry store it was purchased from is now out of business. But, I took it to a well known jeweler in the immediate area and they can repair it and tighten 9 other loose stones. I get to pick it up this Friday.
