Lost Sapphire

Ingrid, on February 12, 2020 at 1:48 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 7
For the second time since having my engagement ring I've knocked a sapphire out of it. I almost literally choked on water when I realized it. I hit it against my computer desk at work and when I looked at my hand the stone was gone. Thankfully a coworker helped me find it but terror quickly set in because the jewelry store it was purchased from is now out of business. But, I took it to a well known jeweler in the immediate area and they can repair it and tighten 9 other loose stones. I get to pick it up this Friday. Lost Sapphire 1

Pretty ring!! Sapphire is my birthstone, love it. I bet it feels weird w/o ring, I’m sure you’ll be glad to have it repaired and returned!

Oh gosh, I'm happy you were able to find it and get it repaired. Hopefully having them all tightened will reduce the likelihood of it happening again!

My worst fear! So glad you were able to find your stone and get it repaired. Hopefully with everything being tightened up it won't happen again.

Gorgeous ring! Glad you found the gem. Is your ring insured? Could come in handy if something happens again.

Sounds like bringing it to a different jeweler to have the settings tightened is probably a good thing. If you've already knocked out stones twice from the original shop they may not have gone all that good a job of setting those stones to begin with. I'm glad you found the missing sapphire!
