I desperately want to loose atleast 10lbs before my wedding. But I am struggling to do do! I tried Keto for 2 weeks and lost 10lbs. I started back eating regular stuff n gained it right back. I think my issue is controlling my cravings. Any tips or pointers would be greatly appreciated. 7/25/2020 is...

Abby has great advice! Portion control and cutting back on drinking are the biggest things! I find what works best for me is to eat small meals/snacks every 2 or 3 hours. So I have to do a fair amount of planning ahead to make sure I always have a healthy snack on me Smiley smile It gets easier once you do it for a month or more. It also helps if those close to you are there to support your goals. Don't give up!! Just remember that it's not a race.. slow and steady is the way to go.

Yup, all of this. It's all calories in vs calories out. Diet is your key. Cardio will help, but if you eat excess calories it takes a lot of cardio to burn it off.

The big stuff: No soda, limit fried food, no fast food, make choices that make you walk more and go up stairs more

One thing I liked is making a challenge I have to hit every day. Flights of stairs, push ups, squats, etc.

That’s how it is!! I struggle too, even though I know what the problem is 😅 it’s hard to stick to. For me, baby steps are the only way, I can’t jump into a routine or any type of diet, I always give in. But with baby steps, they are little so I barely notice them and they add up over time!

Drink 2-3L of water a day and really watch your salt intake (salt is hidden in a lot of foods so check the labels).

Keto is the best way. I know it's hard to stick to but it's so worth it. Try giving yourself one day during the week to eat what you want. It really does help and for me it seems to help me lose more weight.

I slowly cut out carbs and replaced certain things like instead of pasta I replace with zucchini noodles, instead of a burger with a bun I ask to replace the bun with lettuce. For exercise I get really bored at the gym so I started walking at the park and just purchase a bike Smiley smile hope that helped

I'm in the process of attempting keto, as that's the only actual diet that seems to work for my family...it changes your whole system - instead of your body burning sugar and carbs to run, it burns fat. Once you actually reach ketosis, you'll drop weight like nothing. But you have to do the research and find food that you LIKE that are diet friendly. I'm struggling a lot with this as we are in the middle of a lot of financial stress and cheap food is carb loaded...it's definitely not easy, and the first couple weeks are rough, but if you stick to it, and find the foods that you like that you're able to eat with the diet, you'll stay full, be happy with your food, and lose the weight Smiley smile Good luck!!!!

Dont be afraid to give into your cravings. Just do so in moderation. Also, something as simple as walking everyday can make a huge difference!

Exactly the foods that you need for your diet sometimes do not fit in the budget

I've been doing Jenny Craig and honestly it's been awesome. However, I will say it is kind of pricey so it depends if you think it's worth it. If you can't afford to actually join the program: it's basically 1200 calories a day. It's as simple as that and it works!

My Dr. said Keto is terrible for cardiovascular health and to just go low carb instead. Weight loss is all about burning more than you are consuming, so an active live style is a must, but you can't outrun a bad diet either. A good balance is important, so that the cravings don't ruin it. Have one cheat day a week. I have never done WW, but heard people had great results.

I like Whole30 as like a reset to get back to healthy eating. Full disclosure: Groceries aren't cheap and you have to cook A LOT. But for me, it really helped me to "reset" and got rid of a lot of bloat I didn't even realize I had. I also stopped getting as many migraines (after the initial withdrawal phase). It is amazing how much sugar you eat in a day without realizing it!

Only two ways to lose weight. Move more or eat less. The Diet Doctor website has free awesome keto eating plans that work great! You also need to move more, whether that be walking, running, jogging but you have to sweat and make it a lifestyle. God Bless!

I have an app that counts calories. It really helped me be mindful of what I was eating and drinking... for example a single margarita was like 1/3 of my daily calorie intake.. so if I wanted to lose any weight and still feel full from actual food I realized I had to cut alcohol out.
