Los Angeles Brides! Budget friendly dress shopping?

Sarah, on June 24, 2020 at 4:22 AM Posted in California Planning 0 7
Planning a wedding is hard enough but on top of a global pandemic?! Whew.

I’m at the phase of looking for my dress (~$700 and less) and I booked an appointment to look around David’s Bridal but I’m wondering where else is open? Where have you gone and found something beautiful that doesn’t max out a budget?

I bought my first dress at Davids bridal and had a fine experience. There are online shops that are willing to mail sample dress to try from home as well. Good luck! I hope you find the one!

I bought my dress at Mariposa Bridal Boutique in Anaheim. I bought a sample (which was in amazing condition) for 80% off the original price. When my alterations are complete, I'll be spending under $800 total. I also went shopping at Cocomelody and they had surprisingly good quality dresses for the price. I believe both places are currently open by appointment.

I ordered one of mine from a knockoff website called seven prom... and I honestly LOVE it- it was $250. It’s a bit of a gamble(from China)and you don’t get the experience(although you could always go try on dresses and not buy any just have some fun)but it’s certainly budget friendly and surprisingly beautiful. Good luck!

Try Cocomelody in Los Angeles. They have beautiful dresses and even offer Flex Pay. They also offer the try at home option. Look at their website you won’t regret it.

I was on a pretty tight budget for my wedding dress, the max amount I was willing to spend was $450, I picked out my wedding dress on Azazie, using their try at home option, where I got to pick three dresses that they shipped out to my house. I ended up having a wedding dress try-on party at my house where bridal party members were welcomed to join me and help me pick out my wedding dress. This was back in April where the lockdown was still in full force.

All in all, it was a great day, and I was even able to find the dress, and have that say yes to the dress experience we all want.

I bought my dress at David's Bridal. It was on sale for $499. Excuse my expression I was extremely annoyed with random people staring at me. Los Angeles Brides! Budget friendly dress shopping? 1

Saint Clarke Bridal in old town Monrovia is where I bought my dress at a great price! They have great consultants and an equally amazing sales rack!
