Oh wow. That is very unique. I'm actually really glad my future husband is not a member on this forum because he would see your post and probably want a song from LOTR in the ceremony.

I suggested it but FH was hesitant and my Mom gave me a crazy look so I surrendered lol. The music from LOTR is absolutely lovely!

Thank you for sharing @Bailey!! I would like to show this to FH and our officiant as well, maybe a compromise since we nixed the music idea lol.

Concerning hobbits is pretty cheery. I think it could work well as a prelude or mom processional.

@Teaowl I totally agree with Concerning Hobbits. That was actually my ringtone for about a year and a half. Now it's the Sherlock theme song.

I wanted something a little nontraditional and we're both huge fans so I thought it would be perfect!! We're walking out to "Concerning Hobbits" I'm walking in to "Many Meetings" but only a section of it since it's 3 min long and we only have a 100 person wedding

FH might have the main intro song from got. Still working that out!

I'm not using one from lord of rings but I'll be walking down the aisle to a piano rendition of pure imagination from Willy Wonka.

Our recessional was an acoustic guitar version of "Concerning Hobbits"

I'm using Concerning Hobbits for the bridal party processional!

'Concerning Hobbits' is a super great song for people to walk to! FH have been talking about using 'The Adventure Begins' as our song for the recessional since we are cheesy like that .

The Breaking of the Fellowship (from Fellowship) I think this one would be perfect for you. Oh, that violin crescendo at around 1:43 brings tears to the eyes! The melody echoes Concerning Hobbits so it would tie in.

One of my friends had people dressed as hobbits deliver the rings to them in the middle of their ceremony. There was a whole bit about who had the rings, then they had the main theme played right as the hobbits came through the door!
