I feel so out of place in most of these forums. I'm looking for my tribe to discuss planning ideas. I'm not so concerned about typical wedding things or what the majority considers the right way to do things. I feel like you know your own friends and family and my what is acceptable in your circle....
I feel so out of place in most of these forums. I'm looking for my tribe to discuss planning ideas. I'm not so concerned about typical wedding things or what the majority considers the right way to do things. I feel like you know your own friends and family and my what is acceptable in your circle. This is a second marriage. We're in our 40s. We're planning something small, outdoors, with Pagan elements... Less than 50 guests... extremely small budget.


Anyone in the same mindset and want to share ideas? Feel free to say hello!

    I feel the same way but at least pretty soon we’ll be able to say that we’re getting married next year. I’m going to start actual planning and buying the small stuff after Christmas.

    I think that I’m going to DIY my bouquet instead of getting one of the “package” bouquets offered. I really like this one-

    So the plan right now is to get married on a beach in Bermuda but if those plans don’t work out we’ll be doing an intimate wedding near where we live in NY. COVID is stressing me out again but I think that it will be fine by July ‘23. 🤞🏻

    So last night we got an email saying that we could change our ‘23 cruise date to ‘24 or request a refund. It was very vague and now I honestly don’t know what to think. So I guess Bermuda will be our Plan B now. 🤦🏻‍♀️

    Hi Gloria. I’m reading that lots of people on Cruises are getting sick. I’m getting married in July as well and hope the situation will calm down by then.

    I hope it does calm down by your wedding. We’re scheduled for July 2023 and the cruise line is already offering us 50% off if we switch to 2024 so that doesn’t seem good. 🤦🏻‍♀️

    So we’re back to the drawing board but we’re definitely not switching our date to 2024. Whatever we do it will be in 2023. 🤦🏻‍♀️
