    Erica,

My name is Sara and I do in-home romance parties! I have done plenty of bachelorette parties and we always have a blast! I give a presentation of all the products I offer (adult novelties, lotions, lingerie, gag gifts) and the bride will receive free merchandise based on the total sales from your party. Call me if I can be of service to you. The company I represent is For Your Pleasure and we have reps all over so even if I can't do it personally there is always another rep willing to take it on. We also do catalog parties where no rep will come and you simply order out of the catalog to earn free merchandise.

    Hope that helps!

Are you into or would you try a private Pole Dancing Lesson? We planned a private Pole Dancing Lesson for my sister's Bachelorette Party at her MOH's apartment and the instructor came to us. Let me tell you it was so much fun. Those who were too drunk to drive home after (my sister got so drunk by 10:30pm and passed out there) could spend the night, I was limited to one glass of wine and non-alcoholic drinks the rest of the night since I had to drive back to my hotel b/c of my son. My stepmom had even said where some of her friends in their 50's who were getting remarried and had this as their bachelorette party and raved about it. You can have it out of the public eye too and just have fun with it.

Mine was before my hubby moved in with me in my old apartment, and like Laura I'm into Karaoke. That's what I did on nights off on weekends with my friends (even my guy friends were there too) and we went to our fave Karaoke spot. Even though I was pregnant at the time, I was up there quite a bunch with my friends and a Virgin Strawberry Daquari in hand and still had a ball. Make it whatever you want. Since I'm now married and doing a Vow Renewal, my friend and sister want to put together something, I told them why don't we make something easy for dinner, have the bridal party and some of my other friends over, have girley movies (Girls Just Want to Have Fun was a must) do our nails and toes, even maybe a avacado mask and have a relaxing night in. Nothing fancy but some relaxing girley time that a mom needs.

A friend of mine who's Bridal Party I was supposed to be in (had to back out due to financial issues and she couldn't give me more information on what area to stay in, etc. so I could make arrangements) went with her bridesmaids to a bakery in NYC and stuffed their faces with cupcakes, went to a spa for massages, and then they went out to dinner. Her mom paid for the whole thing. There are so many options out there. I also threw out ideas for my sister since Billy Joel was at Mohegan Sun in CT or RI (I don't remember which one) on the night we were planning, to go and see him. You can do commedy clubs, cosmic bowling, mini golf, arcades, belly or hula dancing, there are so many things out there. We were limited with her bachelorette party though since we had to accomodate another bridesmaid and one of our cousins both under 21 so that they could join in the fun. They didn't show up. If I didn't live so far away from Boston a Red Sox game would have been my 1st Choice.

Dave & Busters, pool halls, if you have your own pool(or a friend or family member have one close enough and you love to swim) have a pool party. If you have a big enough big yard, rent a big outdoor screen and turn your backyard into a Drive In Movie Theater and BBQ or if you have a Drive In Movie Theater go see a movie there, or at a regular Movie Theater (we had one in Mass where you eat dinner and watch movies at long tables and the seats are old seats from Lincoln Town Cars and the movie prices were cheap and you could get beer or wine). If you're into Cooking DJ Chef can come to you and host a Cooking Bachelorette party at a home of your choice, provide the music and teach you all how to make a gourmet dessert. You can always bake with your friends too. There are so many alternatives. If you need more ideas, please send me a message.

Well I don't know what state you live in but if your anywhere in Maryland I can help and if your not I can find some one who can. The best way to celebrate a Bachelorette Party is with a Passion Party. This is a wonderful in home party where a consultant will bring all here wonderful toys and trinkets to your home and do a presentation with games and giveaways. What is the best is that you get your catalogues in advance and you can make a great wish list of all the things you want to take on your honeymoon and register with the consultant. Then the more money your girls spend on you (and of course on themselves) the more free products you will get. It is the smartest and simplest way to have a blast at your Bachelorette Party. e-mail off line if you want more info at ******************@*****.***.

Try a co-ed wine tasting for you and all your friends/family, you can use this as a way to find out a good wine to serve for your wedding and at the same time have good food, music and wine with friends and family. It a way to drink safely and avoid the club scene but stillhavea good time.
