Looking for geeky ring engravings...

We aren't sure what to engrave on our rings. We kind of want to go with something geeky. I hate the idea of the basic "I love you" or date you're married or our name or whatever. It's all right for some people, but I want something somewhat unique like a movie quote or something that makes me and him think when we see it.

One we have considered is "I love you" and "I know" from Star Wars (Leia and Han Solo)

Another is "One ring to bind them" as a nod to Lord of the Rings

My future FIL suggested "Never give up" and "Never surrender" from Galaxy Quest

We are into things like Doctor Who, Harry Potter, movies in general, history; he likes LOTR, Star Trek, Star Wars, Kevin Smith movies; I am into Princess Bride, young adult fiction and other literature, and I am sure a million other geeky things. Any suggestions for unique, geeky, but relevant engravings?

    To infinity and beyond!

Ok so this is Toy Story but it comes from a space ranger so kinda geeky!

eta: you can put "to infinity" in one ring and "and beyond" in the other!

How about a Hitchhikers reference? Something like "I have a spare towel for you"

My hubby really wanted a LOTR-style ring. He wanted it personalized. He wanted it in Elvish. He wanted a cheap ring because he is good at losing things. He found an Elvish translator and got an online company to engrave it with our names names and a LOTR phrase all in Elvish and it looks really great. It was under $100 too!

I wanted to just bump this thread, but instead I'll contribute a little:

Some of these are way too long, but they could be used as readings in the ceremony!

My engagement ring is being made/designed and will be engraved with "After all this time?" I will eventually have a wedding band engraved with "Always." I loooove Harry Potter.

Here is a pic of the first casting. Several details will be changed, including the yellow gold prongs and the font of the engraving.

The design on the gallery of the ring is the shape of the windows in the Gryffindor common room Smiley smile

What did you end up engraving? W're also looking for ideas and we're onto the same geeky stuff you are

We don't take ourselves too seriously and we're also considering some humorous engraving but haven't decided what it should be yet
