Long Engagement - Any 2021 Brides?

We got engaged on 11/30/2019 and decided on the date of 09/25/2021 to have a longer engagement simply due to me being in school and then saving up money for the wedding.


I graduate college 05/01/2021 and wanted to make sure I had time to deal with graduation and take the NCLEX once I graduate nursing school. We thought it would be best for us due to the situation we are currently in!(:

Hi! We got engaged on June 8, 2019 and getting married July 10, 2021. So far time is flying and I dont have much booked but its nice to get quotes and things are booking already into 2021. Not really stressing yet but after the new year will be time to buckle down and wedding plan! We are also paying for our own so gives you time to save.

We got engaged last New Years Day - January 2019 - our wedding is on 03/19/21 so we are having about a 2 1/2 year engagement! It doesn’t bother us because I’m in grad school until December 2020, and it gives us time to save and plan accordingly! ☺️

I'm getting married may 8,2021 because I wanted the wedding of my dreams since my first wedding didn't go so will.

We will be marrying May 22, 2021. So 18 month engagement. Too long for me lol. We've been together almost 6 years. Known each other since school. He told me he actually wasn't planning to marry till like 2023, I laughed told him I loved him and told him nope we marry next year, I'm not waiting any longer. He laughed and said ok next year it is. We both been married before, me twice, so this is my 3rd marriage and it feels all so right. I know he is the one. But we waiting because we are paying for a portion off the wedding. My parents are paying for venue and catering. So everyone needed time to gather money lol. I'm also starting a new job next week, after being unemployed for a long time. This wedding will also be everything I wanted. My first wedding I had no say, second wedding I planned but it just didnt live up to my expectation, there was a few issues. So this time we are doing it right and getting what we want.

We got engaged January 2019 and originally wanted to get married March of 2020 but with us paying for it ourselves we learned real fast that we needed longer than normal to give us the kind of wedding we wanted. so we decided to push everything back to March 2021. I'm excited because i feel like its going to fly by! I'm super excited for you guys! And it's always best to wait so you never put yourself in a bind!
