Loestrin / microgestin birth control?

I use it and it works fine. I'm not sure what your questions are.

That's what I have been on for the last 7 years and I really love it. Makes my cycle so much easier to deal with and keeps cramps away.

I just don't want to gain weight really!

I looked at some reviews online and they were complaining of horrible side effects I would have never associated with bc.. So I figured I would come here!

Almost all birth controls have major side effects. In my opinion, it's pretty much trial and error.

Everyone will react to it differently. I've never had any negative side effects. It's been a very positive experience!

I love it - its the only BC I've ever been on. If you eat like you normally do and don't snack and over eat you won't gain weight. I don't gain weight on BC, because I continue to eat clean with a few cheat meals.

No weight gain here. Used it for a while before I became "immuned" and it didn't help anymore. After about 7 years. And to clarify I was taking for the side effects of that time of the month and the heaviness... Not for the actual birth control which I assume you don't become immuned to

If anything my skin was clearer on loestrin than it is now but everyone is different

I used it for about 5 years. No problems. No mood issues, no weight gain, periods were minimal. I tossed it in favor of the implanon. One less pill to worry about.

I loved it! I had the 24 Fe, but unfortunately it was discontinued so now I take a generic. My appetite has increased with the generic, but I refuse to gain the weight. Portion control lol.

I got switched to that type 2-3 years ago, no issues or side affects, other that my cycle is shorter and my flow is lighter...I call those both wins

I'm on a generic brand of loestrin, it has been working well for me. I tried some other ones and I had a lot of spotting which was really annoying and this is the only one that didn't really do that for me. I still get bad cramps, some PMSing mood swings, and a lower libido, but it isn't unbearable. I maybe gained weight, but I've been on it so long, it's probably just me getting older and my metabolism slowing a bit. It works well though! No babies! haha!

It was great when I was on it. Took away all the symptoms of PMS. No weight gain. The other ones I tried made PMS horrrrrrrible.

It's the only BC I've been on that has kept my cramps away and my periods light. I get cramps so bad that they put me out of commission for pretty much a whole day or two. I definitely notice a different in that and it has helped stabilize my mood swings. I don't have to take anxiety medicine because it's helped. I've been on it for probably 5 years now.
