I need help finding scripts for my grandmother to follow... she has her book thing, but I want something more personal, not something that is said at every wedding... any help???

I found a couple unique ceremony scripts... but they dont involve the lock.or keys... I'm just looking for.something different. my fiancee is Baptist I believe,.my grandmother is born againcChristian and I have pagan/earthly beliefs... im completely okay with religion being included... but I'm also okay with it not being a focus. I'm also looking for something that includes family a lot... we both have a child, they will be placing a lock as well in the tree.

I'm not familiar with what a lock and key ceremony is but found the sounds of it you have a blend of beliefs between you and FH and want something unique and non-traditional. You could consider writing your own ceremony. Start with the types of elements you want to include and work from there to make something that is truly your own.

Lol, thank you. my fh and I are making a tree of life wall hanging/decor. we are going to have our parents put a lock on the tree as our roots for who we are and to represent our past and where we came from. then our children will each put a lock on the branches to represent our blended family and then my fh and I will place a lock on the trunk of the tree to represent the base if our family... then we are going to tie all the keys to a couple balloons, which will each ha e a personal note for those who passed, and we will release the ballons.

Yes, it does date back to Chinese origin... but its also been used with the tree of life from Celtic pasts as well
