Hi Everyone!!! So since I recieved such good advice ideas and feedback from my last discussion I wanted everyone's opinion and suggestions for another!! So I found the perfect location and venue!! The only problem is it's 1 hours and 40 minutes away from our hometown where all of our family and friends reside so my question is..IS DO YOU THINK 1 HR 40 MIN TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR YOUR GUESTS TO DRIVE? my FH says no the people that truly want to come will come but I say maybe that's asking too much.. what do u all think

An hour and forty doesn’t seem too much to me, especially if there’s somewhere nearby to stay. We only had 30 invitations and had to send them to 12 different states... Most of our guests are coming to Oregon from New England but we do even have someone coming from Florida.

It really depends. I live in California so to us that is not a horrible drive because most of that have that commute just to go to work. But if a lot of your guests do not usually travel far, they might not want to. However, if they really want to come, they will. No matter the drive. You’ll see people’s true colors I bet.

Your future husband is right. If people can and really want to be there they will. I have people traveling over 6 hours to attend our wedding. I also had a cousin who got married in Florida, and we all rented a van and drove 10 hours from NC. People will come!
