Literally tying the knot.... help!!!!

Courtney, on August 16, 2016 at 6:55 PM Posted in Planning 0 3

Okay so we are going to do a tying knot ceremony within our wedding, We bot went to school for fisheries, work at the same fish hatchery, and literally fish together every chance we get. So this is a way to incorporate the nautical aspect of our relationship in our ceremony. With that said does anyone have any pointers? I am trying to find the best rope to use, and the lengths of each rope? Also I read somewhere that you can have a knot bearer who after the rope is tied you give it to and put it in a box of some sort ? It sounds like the perfect job for his sister so she can be in the ceremony but I am not sure what kind of box to use. I would look up videos but because I live at a remote fish hatchery in AK with very limited internet I can't stream any videos. Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated!!!

    We're doing this also!

Pinterest has readings that go along with it!

I got my rope by the foot from Home Depot.

Depends on what kind of knot you're tying as to how long you need it. I got 2 5ft ropes and were tying a fishermans knot!

You're welcome! Pinterest also has step by step photos since you can't get a video to stream! Smiley smile
