Lipsense or...?

FutureMrsDeShong, on August 25, 2017 at 5:05 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 52

What lipstick would you recommend for the wedding? I'd like it to stay on the whole time and not transfer or come off when eating. Is LipSense the best? Or would you suggest a different one? What did you wear?

I wore a lip stain by Givenchy and it lasted all day. It didn't get Cakey or run off on anything. Loved it.

I'm planning on wearing Lipsense. I also have a love hate relationship with it. But I found a color combination I'm in love with, so I'll suck up the dry lips in exchange for a transfer proof, long lasting lipstick.

(No other "long wearing" lipstick actually works on me. They all transfer or wear off!)

I swear by Kat Von D. I would choose a colour that has an accompanying lip liner. Amazing and does not dry out my lips.

Yeah I think I'll prob do Lipsense. Agree with pp's that it's love/hate. It looks so dang good most of the time. I think wearing it 1 day though it doesn't really matter if it dries out your lips.

I will most likely be wearing Jeffree Star, I am obsessed with his liquid lipsticks. Not too drying at all, and they last such a long time. Even through eating and drinking.

I wore Kat Von D's Lolita II, it was a perfect color and it lasted all day.

I would suggest a setting spray. They have matte and dewy. My favorite is NYX, like I was in a hot bar doing karaoke and dancing and it didn't move until I used makeup remover. I used it with Jeffree Star Unicorn Blood too. Do your makeup as you want then spray. It'll dry in a second and you'll be set.

I'm wearing lipsense! It lasts until I take it off and that's what I need on wedding day. My color will be "roseberry". A close 2nd was "pink champagne" lipsense.

I agree with everyone on the love/hate relationship with lipsense. I used it on my wedding day because I love that it stays throughout everything. It's quite spendy but with it for me!

I LOVE Lipsense and wore Roseberry for my wedding. I love that it stays on all day and I always had great color on my face for our pics. All I had to do was gloss and that was it. Can't beat it. It doesn't dry out your lips unless yoire wearing it for the first time and typically wear other products on your lips.

I think I'll be wearing something by Jeffree Star. I love Jeffree and his products so hopefully I will find a color that speaks to me.

I'm using Glamorous Chicks. Their matte lipsticks are the only ones that just stay on me all day and not transfer.

I don't wear makeup, so I had never heard of lipsense before my wedding day, but that's what my makeup artist used and it seems like it stayed great!!

I'm probably gunna wear beauty bakerie (lip whip) or kat von d. Both are matte formulas and are relatively long lasting. Mostly because I have an allergic reaction to lipsense once. Smiley tongue

I wore Lipsense for my wedding and it was perfect. I love the color I chose and honestly I still wear Lipsense pretty much everyday. The more you wear it the better it is for your lips. That dry feeling in the beginning is actually the dry skin flaking off your lips. My lips aren't dry at all and I wear it almost everyday.

I wore Aussie Rose as my color with Glossy Gloss. The gloss is key to locking in the color and protecting it while eating and drinking.

I'm still in the market for a long-wearing lip, but I know it won't be from Jeffree Star.. I won't support racism nor cruelty on my big day Smiley smile
