Lingerie Stores besides Victoria's Secret???

Cassie, on January 6, 2015 at 5:23 PM Posted in Honeymoon 1 15

Hello all!

I'm looking for classy lingerie (without so much lace and little cutesy bows), and I've looked through VS so many times, but I have never found anything I like (there's FARRRR too much lace on everything). I've heard of Frederick's, but there's none at all near me. Anyone have any suggestions? I live in the DC area (MD side). Thanks so much!

What about high end stores that sell it? Like Nordstrom or bloomingdales?

I second Nordstrom. Also Soma carries some nice things if one is in your area.

But, but, the semi-annual sale doesn't normally have lace!

Here's a large variety of sites you can look through briefly to see if it's your style

    LingerieDiva.com

    http://www.shopinbloombyjonquil.com/

    http://www.agentprovocateur.com/

    http://trashy.com

    http://www.lasenza.com

    And i second Nordstrom

I'm not sure if there are Fredericks retailers or if you can only order online.

Why not shop online? http://www.fredericks.com - I have only EVER bought online lol. Fredericks has much better prices on lingerie than VS too.

Nordstrom? Journelle is also great (online-only, though): journelle.com

Eberjay (I think online only) has some cute stuff without lace

Soma. Hands down. They are always very informative and helpful and the photos of models don't make me hate myself. They have lots of sizes whether you are a 32A or a 44F!

I just went lingerie shopping yesterday! I ended up going to a local store and found something, but I didn't realize how tough this would be. Nordstrom had some cute stuff, but nothing I was crazy about. FYI, Victoria's Secret is having the annual sale right now in case anyone is looking there, but the one near me was a MADHOUSE and they didn't have anything in my size.
